A ceiling cassette air conditioner is a device that is used in both residential homes and office buildings. This is a unique concept that has the air conditioning unit installed in the ceiling and not on a wall. One advantage of this design is that the piping required to connect with an outside unit is also in the ceiling. Ceiling Cassettes also have their own condensate pump built in; they tend to be more reliable than the additional condensate pumps that are attached to wall mounted units
